wave nouveau and wave by design

I got Wave by design put in my hair in April of this year and I love it. Is there a difference between this an wave nouveau. I use the wave nouveau products because they're easily available. I just have one question. The only way I am able to keep my hair moisturised is my applying hair grease and other heavy moisturisers along with the daily moisturisers that come with it. This makes my hair heavy and almost wet, is there anyone who knows how to keep it moisturised and not have the hair oil get on my clothes.

Hello HAIR GIRL! Very Happy
I have the wave nouveau also. I just ordered the Maxiglide by Maximus. I was told by a Product Manager and a C.S.A that I should be able to use this product to straighten my hair. There are 10 settings, so I have the ability to adjust the heat setting. I will let you know how it works. Thanks!

Wave Nouveau gone bad

I did a Wave Nouveau Coiffure for some reason the curls never stay not only this after I leave the salon the hair is still wet and i can see my scalp. The curls are always wet. Is this how it is supposed to look? I was hoping for something curled/ ringlet fro look (dry) not this mess.

Now my hair is breaking/ falfallingredding anytime I comb my hair I get hands full of hair even if i just put my fingers through it hair falls out it is do bad I am loslosing hair in front I can actually see my scalp. The hair at my temples have broken. Before the wave nouveau my hair was natural I truly regret this move.

Can someone pls advise me on what to do. I would really appreciate your help. There is hair all over the place am so worried I will wake up bald. Does anyone have pictures of how a wave it should look ?

Finally does anyone know a great salon that does Wave Nouveau Coiffure in Atlanta.[B][

newbies

When you first get the wave, do so on the weekend and do not have any plans to go anywhere special. You do have to put lots of product on your hair for the first few days, after that you shouldn't have to use anything other that an occasional spray or maybe a little of the creme on the edges. The lady that does my hair advised me to comb my hair in sections, starting from the back or you will pull it all out.

Check my previous posting, I have had the wave for a while. It is very convenient and cute. You do not have to use a lot of product on it or it will make it "wet looking"

In about a month, I will be trying to take myself from curly to straight with a ceramic flat iron via directions from the carson-sheen website.

please post comments

Re: wave nouveau and wave by design

Some one told me that putting heavy products on your hair is not good because it cloggs the pores in your scalp, perhaps not allowing your hair to grow to full capacity. If you use a light moisturizer or conditioner it may make your hair a lot healthier and bouncy giving it body and shine. You just have to use it more than grease ecause since it's not as heavy your hair may "soak" it up quicker. NO GREASES.
