L-Arginine for hair loss?
Dr. McElwee, L-arginine is considered by some to be a natural treatment for hair loss: it's an essential amino acid for proper hair growth; it's the metabolic precursor for Nitric Oxide which is a messenger substance that stimulates hair growth by opening Potassium channels; may also help release Growth Hormone. The problem is dosage recommendations range from 3 gm to up to 18 gm per day. Do you have any opinion as to the benefits of L-arginine supplements with regard to AGA, and if so what dosage would you recommend? Thanks again, Alexa

Hi Alexa,
Did you ever find anything about L-Arginine benefits and uses? What is the proper dosage of L-Arginine under normal circumstances for an adult? _________________ L-arginine information

L-Arginine claims to regrow hair and I know damn straight it doesn’t. But I was going to give it a go anyway and use it for my thinning hair. The reason being because at the very least it might strengthen my hair and maybe even thicken it which would be satisfactory to me.
Regards,
