Flat Iron Hair Loss

I’m 24 years old Female. I have conair used flat iron for about one and half year without using the heat protector. I was using once a week to straight my hair. My hair loss started all of the sudden that’s why went to doctor and had blood test but everything was normal. I totally stopped using the flat iron. It has been like six months now. I still see the hair loss but believe less than before. My hair has got thinner all over but mainly from top front. Does flat iron do permanent hair loss? Will my hair grows back? I never have used any chemical or dye on my hair. I don’t have any dieses and/or not taking any medication. No one in my family has been through any hair problem and/or baldness. Please advice. Thanks.
