Hair growing in jet black - would love your advice

Hello

I am a 27 year old female with medium brown hair. Over the past year I have been growing thick jet black hair from the top of my head. These hairs are sometimes wiry and a completely different texture to my normal hair. Up until a few weeks ago I had been pulling them out but today have noticed I have heaps of them.

Does anyone have any idea why I could be growing these black hairs?

Originally I thought it could be due to getting older (I have a few greys here and there) until last month when my sister (who is 2 years younger) noticed the same thing. I've looked at her hair and the black hairs are exactly the same as mine (she is a brunette too).

I would love any advice/information about this. It just doesn't seem normal.

l have not heard of that . but it would be better to talk to your dr.or some here may have go thru.

the same thing is happening to me i have medium brown hair and one day i started having twisted dark black hairs they are very weird feeling the more i pull out the more they come back and im getting grey hair to im only 34 this has been going on for over a year i asked the people were i get my hair cut if they knew what it was they did not know it is driving me crazy every day when i fix my hair all i see are these freaky looking black hairs.and recently my older sister started getting them to.i see this was posted last year did you ever find out what it was.If any one knows please let me know

I am Jackbency and my sister is also suffering from problem like you. I know that it doesn't look like normal so whenever you get solution then post it. It would be great for you and my lovely sister. She is 25 year old and before 2 months she realized that she have heaps black hair. Can anyone tell me that why it is growing up? can anyone help her?
